Met Dobbie (chef at Nahm) today, we ran over the menu for the Comp', I cooked him a few dishes, and he gave me his feedback. Then I took him hunter gathering, he picked up this book from a charity shop,'Food for free', but didn't know where to go foraging in the big smoke , so I took him to a secret place that I usually visit each year about October time, It was a bit early, so we will have to put our finds on the window sill for a week or so, just to ripen them up!
We found apples, pears, plums and quinces, ...Ingredients screaming out for a crumble!
