With the lovely truffle that Freddie gave me a few days ago coming from Italy, Freddie coming from Italy and Bruno, the Truffle supplier also coming from Italy, it seemed only fair to cooked my truffle in an Italian fasion!
Freddie is a great Italian Chef having worked along side Georgio Locatelli for almost 10 years! So I popped around his yesterday for some advice. He suggested that I store the Truffle in an airtight container with a cup of risotto rice and 6 eggs for a week, this way I will get 2 meals, truffled scrambled and truffle risotto, to which he advised that I add ceps....So I'll see what happens in a week.
